Chocolate-Covered Black Angel, from Wicked Weed Brewing, is 7.2% ABV.
As described by Wicked Weed Brewing: "Chocolate-covered
black angel is a dark, sour ale that we combine with 2 pounds per

Backmasting Beer from 3 Floyds
Backmasting beer by Three Floyds Brewing, Co. is 8% ABV.
3 Floyds describes their Backmasting beer as simply an oatmeal stout.
Here's NicksBeerBlog.blogspot.com review of the Backmasting brew:
"Backmasking pours a pitch black color with a brown head that has a thin creamy appearance. It's hard to tell if there's any carbonation in here but the lacing is very abundant.
The aroma starts things off with a very strong chocolate malt scent .....Click here for more from NicksBeerBlog"
Now that's what I call a review!

Stone Go To IPA
Stone Go To IPA by Stone Brewing Co. is 4.5% ABV.
From StoneBrewing.com "Since Day One, we've been abundantly forthright and fully transparent about our lust for hops. It's led us to craft many an IPA, most of them imperial—some intense for their time and all timeless in their intensity. For Stone Go To IPA, we are embracing our hop obsession in a new way, funneling an abundance of lupulin-borne bitterness into a "session" IPA delivering all the fruity, piney character of a much bigger IPA. To accomplish this, we employed "hop bursting," a new technique wherein an irrational amount of hops is added during the final phase of the brewing process to coax out extreme flavors and aromas while also imparting a burst of desirably pleasant bitterness. The result is an Alpha-acid-rich beer that fans can enjoy more of without missing out on the assertive hop character you, like us, crave. So, sit back and go two with your new everyday go-to IPA and bask along with us in the glory of the almighty hop."

Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous Black IPA
Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous Black IPA by Stone Brewing Co. is 8.7% ABV.
From StoneBrewing.com "First brewed in 2007 as the Stone 11th Anniversary Ale, this ale was an instant hit. With us. Other folks with great taste loved it too, but we were focused on how much we liked it, and we felt it was truly sublime. That euphoria didn't last long though, as it was soon replaced with the grim reality that when we sold out of it there wouldn't be any more. For us. And that was simply unacceptable. So, we are now blessing ourselves, and you the enlightened, with this ale. Thusly, you may now revel in your own self-righteousness as you see fit with this glorious example of ours. You are genuinely welcome, as it is our pleasure."
Hop Variety: Chinook, Simcoe & Amarillo

Stone Cali-Belgique IPA
Stone Cali-Belgique IPA by Stone Brewing Co. is 6.9% ABV.
From StoneBrewing.com "This beer is indeed a complex and surprising combination of flavors, but behind the fancy title is simply delicious Stone IPA dressed up in new Belgian duds. The addition of a carefully selected strain of Belgian yeast adds unexpected layers of flavors and aroma, providing a deliciously funky overtone to the hoppy brightness you already know and love as Stone IPA. Think of it as an otherwise identical twin to Stone IPA that was raised in a Belgian culture. Literally."
Hop Variety: Magnum, Perle & Centennial

Blue Pants Workman Common Lager
Workman Common Lager by Blue Pants Brewery is 5.0% ABV.
From Blue Pants Brewery "Based on the California Common style but brought to the great Southeast, our Alabama Common is built from stronger stuff than western frontiersman. It's built from the soul of the common man, with the backbone to support a man after a long day in the hot sun. Whether it's plowing fields, harvesting cotton, picking peaches or cutting down the armies that surround your castle, this crisp beer will get you through."
"A light lager hybrid with flavor? That’s what this Alabama Common is. Clean and crisp like a lager, but with the beautiful citrus flavors of Citra hops and Rye to compliment the traditional Northern Brewer hops and hybrid yeast. Incredibly drinkable, but tastier than its lighter, thin, mass market siblings."
